The match was played at the Stade de France, according to RFI. The source places the encounter on Friday evening.
The central sporting fact is the 1-1 draw between the two national teams, a result reported by RFI in the context of the Nations League.
For France, according to the broadcaster’s report, the point earned by Italy halted Zidane’s start on the national team bench, which had been described as triumphant.
RFI therefore presents the match as a setback compared with the start of the new French head coach, without adding further details about the course of the game.
The available report clearly identifies the competition, result and venue: the Nations League, the 1-1 scoreline and the Stade de France.
The same source places the encounter on Friday evening and links the draw to the end of Zidane’s triumphant start in charge of France.
